Abstract:

PURPOSE: To control cooling of molten steel rapidly and correctly without exerting bad effect such as remaining of reduced pellets unmelted or decarbonization of moltens steel by adding reduced pellets of specified particle size to molten steel when the temperature of the steel is higher than desired temperature at the last period or end of the blowing.
