Abstract:

To quickly shift from a motor travelling mode to an engine travelling mode.

A control method for a driving device for a vehicle includes a step (S2) of starting an engine by a drive force of a first motor when shifting from a motor travelling mode in which a second motor is driven to stop an engine into an engine travelling mode in which an engine 2 is driven to stop or drive the second motor and setting a control amount (a throttle opening degree TO) of an output control means at that time to a predetermined high value regardless of an accelerator opening degree AO; a step (S6) of switching the torque value of the first motor to a power generation side before synchronizing an upper stream part with a lower stream part of a transmission/cutoff means for transmitting or cutting off power among the engine and wheels (R) after the step (S2); and a step (S9) of joining the transmission/cutoff means in a state where the upper stream part and the lower stream part of the transmission/cutoff means are synchronized with each other.
