Abstract:

To provide a control method of an exhaust emission control system and the exhaust emission control system capable of avoiding overheat of an engine by restraining a temperature rise in engine cooling water without stopping an air conditioner in regeneration control by a manual regeneration mode of a DPF device of an internal combustion engine.

In the regeneration control by the manual regeneration mode, when the first exhaust gas temperature Tg1 of exhaust gas flowing in an oxidation catalyst device 12a is higher than the predetermined determining temperature Tc1 and the temperature Tg2 of the exhaust gas flowing in the DPF device 12b is higher than the predetermined determining temperature Tc2, when the intake temperature Ta becomes higher than the expected third determining temperature Tc3, second exhaust gas temperature rise control for performing post-injection in addition to multi-injection is stopped, and is switched to third exhaust gas temperature rise control for performing the post-injection in addition to ordinary injection.
