Abstract:
To remove effectively a contamination component adsorbed in a cathode catalyst layer.
This is a control method of a fuel cell using a catalytic metal as an electrode catalyst, and comprises stages of: starting a starting treatment of the fuel cell (S1); supplying an anode gas to an anode of the fuel cell (S2); impressing a prescribed potential on a cathode of the fuel cell (S3); and (S4) completing the starting treatment of the fuel cell after impressing a prescribed potential on the cathode for a certain time.
