PURPOSE: To attain the purpose of drying in a short time without giving extremely hot or cold feeling by varying the quantity of the delivered hot air and the temperature thereof depending upon the condition of a hand, according to the predetermined program.
CONSTITUTION: In order to obtain the air delivered from a hot air delivery port 13, an electric motor 9 such as an alternate current motor for driving and turning a sirocco fan 10 is controlled in output with a controller 8 via an inverter 15. In addition, the speed of the motor 9 is controlled for continuous variation. A heater 14 for air supply and heating is controlled in phase with the controller 8 via SSR 16, and the heating value thereof is continuously increased or decreased. A sensor 17 fitted to the passage of the delivered hot air detects normal hot air temperature and inputs the value thereof to the controller 8. A radiation temperature sensor 18 so fitted as to look to a hand held detects the surface temperature of the hand and always outputs the value of the aforesaid surface temperature to the controller 8. The controller 8 actuates and controls a hot air drying device, according to the predetermined hot air delivery program, depending upon input information from a sensor 5 for detecting the existence and non-existence of a hand and a radiation temperature sensor 18 for detecting the surface temperature of a hand.
