Abstract:
To provide an injection molding machine and a control method of an injection molding machine, capable of quickly detecting a defect when the defect has occurred in foam molding.SOLUTION: An injection molding machine (1) includes: a heating cylinder (17) with a gas injection port (26) provided therein; a screw (18); a gas cylinder (30); a decompression valve (34) configured to decompress a primary pressure of a gas from the gas cylinder (30) to a secondary pressure; a gas supply part (43) configured to supply the gas of the secondary pressure to the gas injection port (26); secondary pressure detection means (42) configured to detect the secondary pressure; and control means (4). The control means (4) compares a set pressure which is set in advance at the injection molding machine (1) and the secondary pressure to detect a defect.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
