Abstract:
To enable methane concentration to be adjusted to desired concentration.SOLUTION: There is provided a control method for methane synthesis equipment having: a first reaction furnace causing methane synthesis reaction using carbon dioxide and hydrogen; a first water condenser for condensing and removing water from a first reaction product produced in the first reaction furnace; a second reaction furnace causing a methane synthesis reaction using a first water removal object obtained in the first water condenser; and a second water condenser condensing and removing water from a second reaction product produced in the second reaction furnace. The control method for the methane synthesis equipment controls reaction furnace temperature of the second reactor furnace and a water condensation temperature of the first water condenser in combination, thereby adjusting the concentration of synthetic methane of a second water-removed substance generated in a second water condenser.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
