Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimum pump operation control method for a water feed device which can minimize the variation of the units of pumps to be operated and can carry out leveling. SOLUTION: The master pump operation schedule Pn in a water feed time zone is determined on a water demand quantity Q to be fed from a reservoir to a demand spot in a demand time zone, and a water level variation in the reservoir during the water feed time zone is estimated based on a water feed quantity to be fed in the case of operating the pump on the master operation schedule and the water demand quantity to determine it as a reference water level LS, and the pump is operated on the master operation schedule Pn, and the actual water level LR of the reservoir is compared with the master water level LS at every fixed time after operation to obtain a level difference dL between them, and a water demand quantity to cause the level difference dL is assumed to be maintained afterward, and the master operation schedule is therefore amended, and a water level variation estimated in the case of operating the pump on the amended master operation schedule Pn' is determined as a reference water level LS', and the pump is operated on this amended master operation schedule Pn'.
