Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch an MIDI driver for generating musical waveform data even during play.
SOLUTION: By installing an integrated driver 3 in an operating system(OS) 2, the integrated driver is located under an interface IF 3 prepared for the OS 2. MIDI driver 1-3 can be used only by being registered in the integrated driver, and an MIDI message received from the music software 1 is assorted to the MIDI drivers by the integrated driver 3. Therefore, the MIDI drivers for generating the musical waveform data can be switched over by the integrated driver 3 even during play.
