PURPOSE: To listen to a broadcast program of the same network in an excellent reception state, by reading a frequency data of the same network stored in a memory when the reception state of a broadcast wave during reception is deteriorated so as to switch the reception frequency to a frequency represented by the readout frequency data.
CONSTITUTION: Whether or not a reception signal level VS of a broadcast wave in a frequency fD during reception is a set level V1 or below is discriminated from the output of a station detection circuit 20. When the reception state of VS below V1 is consecutive for a prescribed time (t) or over, the frequency of the network station group is read from the memory 15 and set to a frequency divider of a PLL circuit 2a. Thus, the reception frequency is changed to the broadcast frequency of other broadcast station of the same network. When the new VS is larger than the V1, the reception state is maintained. On the other hand, when the VS is lower than the V1, the original broadcast wave is received. It is repeated till the broadcast wave of the VS larger than the V1 is detected in the network station up to which the broadcast station of the frequency fD belongs.
