Abstract:
To provide a control method for rolled material meandering and a control device for rolled material meandering which enable a leveling amount of a rolling mill to be automatically controlled and enable meandering of a rolled material to be suppressed, and do not require change in a control gain even when there are a good shape portion and a bad shape portion of a steel plate in a same coil.SOLUTION: A control method for rolled material meandering according to the present invention is a control method for controlling a meandering amount of a rolled material by controlling the leveling amount of the rolled material when rolling and threading is performed on the rolled material in a skinpass rolling line comprising a payoff reel, a rolling mill, and a tension reel. This control method includes: a differential tension measurement step of measuring a differential tension in a plate width direction, of the rolled material at an outlet side of the rolling mill; a meandering amount measurement step of measuring a meandering amount of the rolled material at least at one of an inlet side and the outlet side of the rolling mill; a differentiating step of differentiating the meandering amount measured in the meandering amount measurement step in terms of time and outputting the derivative value of the meandering amount; and a control step of controlling the leveling amount of the rolling mill on the basis of the differential tension and the meandering amount derivative value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
