Title:
CONTROL METHOD FOR WASHING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3178352
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably dehydrate, by setting a water level by cloth amount detection, supplying water to a prescribed level, setting the water level again by detecting cloth amount, controlling the water level correspondingly to the comparing result of both water levels, rinsing agitation before draining water to a prescribed level and performing balance agitation for a prescribed time.
SOLUTION: A washing machine is controlled as follows: When full automatic operation is started by pressing a start button after putting clothing in, cloth amount detection is performed at a central processing circuit 34. After that, when washing is started after setting a water level (water level B) manually by a water level changing switch, water is supplied to a regular level by opening a water supply valve 24 before cloth amount detection agitation is performed to determine the optimum water level (water level C) corresponding to the amount of clothing. Comparing water levels B and C, when the level C is lower than the level B, water is supplied to the water level B to perform washing agitation. After finishing washing agitation or washing balance agitation, water is drained down to the water level C, then balance agitation is performed and, thereafter, water draining and dehydrating are performed.
