Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a control panel which uses non-electrical and non- mechanical switches.
CONSTITUTION: Optical fiber 14a-14h is stuck to the surface of a flat plate 13 in such a manner as crawling thereover and one cut part of the optical fiber on the flat plate 13 is formed into switch portions 15a-15d and the optical fiber 14a-14h is connected at one end to a light-receiving portion and to a light- transmitting portion at the other end, and when fingers are put on the control switch portions 15a-15d the light-receiving portion does not receive light and as a result a control panel capable of detecting switch inputs is realized.
