Abstract:
To provide an information processing apparatus capable of communicating with printers of various communication protocols.SOLUTION: When a printer using Bluetooth is selected as the selected printer, a media monitor 28 determines whether an address of the selected printer, that is, the Bluetooth address can be acquired. Then, the media monitor 28 outputs the determination result to an application 26. Further, the application 26 is configured to be able to output a request for media information to the media monitor 28 when the received determination result indicates that the Bluetooth address can be acquired. Then, when receiving the request for media information from the application 26, the media monitor 28 transmits the request for media information to the selected printer that has established communication using the Bluetooth address. This makes it possible to communicate with printers of various communication protocols.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
