Abstract:
To provide a control rod drive mechanism with a cyclo speed reducer capable of equalizing internal and external pressures without leaking an internal lubricant.
The advanced control rod drive mechanism (FMCRD) to be provided in a lower portion of a reactor pressure vessel of an advanced boiling water reactor to control the reactivity of the reactor by raising and lowering a control rod comprises an induction electric motor as a drive source, and the cyclo speed reducer 26 as a speed reducing mechanism for the induction electric motor. The cyclo speed reducer 26 comprises a pressure equalizing means 50 capable of equalizing the internal pressure with the external pressure.
