Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control rod drive mechanism capable of easily constraining a horizontal motion of a ribbon.SOLUTION: A control rod drive mechanism CRD 50 inserts a control rod 11 connected to a piston 9 into a reactor core or extracts the control rod 11 from the reactor core and, during scram, presses up the piston 9 by infusing high pressure water to insert the control rod into the reactor core. The CRD 50 includes: a hollow guide tube 30 guiding the piston 9 along a vertical direction; a full-in movable member 27 arranged within the guide tube 30, and abutting on the piston 9 pressed up by the high pressure water to be pressed up; and a full-in detection magnet 22 attached below the full-in movable member 27 via a ribbon 26. The ribbon 26 is inserted into an insertion groove 41 formed in the guide tube 30. The insertion groove 41 has a dovetail groove shape whereas the ribbon 26 has a dovetail bar shape corresponding to the dovetail groove shape.
