Abstract:

PURPOSE: To attain synchronization between opposite stations without a communication error at changeover of look-back by using information sent through other ISDN line than an ISDN line used at backup to take synchronization.

CONSTITUTION: In the case of line changeover by a lookback means 22, information sent in an ISDN line (D channel) for control data communication supplied from other ISDN network 18 than an ISDN line (B channel) used for data communication at backup is used to take synchronization between opposite stations by using a control means 24. Moreover, information sent in an ISDN line (D channel) for control data communication supplied from other ISDN network 14 than an ISDN line (B channel) used for data communication at backup is used to take synchronization between opposite stations. Thus, occurrence of an error attended with synchronization is prevented in advance.
