Abstract:
To solve such a problem of a control knob for controlling an electrical machine that dust, liquid, and the like, enter easily into the control knob and reduces dustproofness and waterproofness thus causing inaccurate or irregular control operation.SOLUTION: A control system for controlling operation of an electrical machine comprises an input processor module 200 placed on the inside of a housing, and a control knob 100 attached removably to the housing. The input processor module includes a non-contact type sensor 220 loaded to a printed circuit board 210. The control knob includes an attachment element 130 configured to be attached removably to the external surface of the housing, and a permanent magnet element 140 configured for non-contact interaction with the non-contact type sensor. The permanent magnet element is configured to move to multiple different positions for the non-contact type sensor, and the multiple different positions are sensed in response to movement of the permanent magnet element to the multiple different positions for the non-contact type sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
