Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate automatic changing over of constant voltage control through motor control or the like using a thyristor chopper and constant current control by connecting the output parts of a low-pass filter and a reference voltage setting means to the input part of a comparator. CONSTITUTION:A thyristor chopper 7 is connected to a load such as DC motor, and the average output voltage of the load is controlled by the alternating operating periods of on-off thereof. A low-pass filter 8, a reference voltage setting means and a comparator 5 deriving the binary output to the output part are provided to such device. The output part of the low-pass filter 8 and the output part of the reference voltage setting means are connected to the two input parts of the comparator 5. The output part of the comparator 5 is connected to the input part of the low-pass filter 5, and is also connected directly or indirectly to the input part of a thyristor chopper 7, so that the alternating operating periods of the thyristor chopper 7 are controlled by the binary output of the comparator 5.
