Respective analytic processing parts of an automatic analyzing device 5 are arranged in the 1st automated unit (main analysis unit) 3 and 2nd automated unit (subordinate analysis unit) 4 respectively. Here, the main analysis unit 4 and subordinate analysis unit 4 can be operated mechanically and independently with different kinds of signals, i.e., a 1st and a 2nd control signal. Then the control unit 1 which is provided outside is connected to the main analysis unit 3 and subordinate analysis unit 4 by individual communication lines through a communication control unit 2, which selectively switches transmission routes of the control signals transmitted from the control unit 1 to the respective units.
