To provide a control system for a two-wheeled vehicle with an automatic clutch avoiding increase of unburned gas in exhaust gas to avoid risk of catalyst damage and inhibit deterioration of emissions in limiting engine rotation speed when a stand is erected.
The control system for the two-wheeled vehicle with the automatic clutch causes engine power to be automatically transmitted to a wheel when the engine rotation speed exceeds a clutch-engagement rotation speed. The system comprises a stand switch 9 for detecting erection of a side stand for supporting a vehicle body and outputting an erection signal and an engine ECU 30 for calculating a target opening of a throttle 10 based on accelerator operating amount by an operator and controlling drive of a throttle motor 11 based on the target opening. The engine ECU 30 corrects the target opening so that it is limited to a predetermined opening or less when the erection signal from the stand switch 9 is inputted.
