Abstract:
To provide a control unit that can control a plurality of focus lens groups to increase focus accuracy during a magnification varying operation.SOLUTION: A control unit controls a first focus driving unit (119) and a second focus driving unit (120) that respectively drive a first focus lens group (113) and a second focus lens group (114) movable in an optical axis direction, and has a driving amount calculation unit (115) that periodically calculates the driving speeds or the driving positions of the first focus driving unit and the second focus driving unit. The driving amount calculation unit makes different the method for calculating the driving speeds or the driving positions between a case of driving the first focus lens group and the second focus lens group when performing focusing and a case of driving the first focus lens group and the second focus lens group when not performing focusing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
