Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control unit for a self-excited power conversion device capable of performing appropriate voltage control even when a failure of a unit converter occurs.SOLUTION: An arm output voltage calculation section causes an average value of output voltages of individual arms to coincide with an average value of output voltages of all unit converters. A failure detection section detects a faulty cell stage number of the unit converters provided to the individual arms. A detection section of an operation cell stage number calculates the operation cell stage number on the basis of the faulty cell stage number detected by the failure detection section. A calculation section of a cell output voltage command value Vcp calculates the cell output voltage command value to be output by the individual unit converters. A cell voltage control section controls capacitor voltages of the individual unit converters on the basis of output of the calculation section of the cell output voltage command value Vcp.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
