Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the testing efficiency of a control unit by switching the control mode from an ordinary control mode to a test mode without providing a special input/output terminal while preventing a malfunction.
SOLUTION: In this control unit 10 having a plurality of input terminals and output terminals, an ordinary control mode and a test mode having shorter signal output time than the ordinary control mode are set as the control mode. As a switching condition to the test mode, the control mode is switched from the ordinary control mode to the test mode only when a designated mode switching command signal is input to a specified input terminal 16v which is the input terminal other than the used input terminals and whose input voltage is kept constant in ordinary use among the input terminals provided in a micro-computer 16.
