Abstract:
PURPOSE:To permit correct speed-change control with a small error in speed change by controlling the electromagnetic brake of a servomechanism by a number of pulse wave inputs having each variable amplitude, pulse frequency, and pulse width. CONSTITUTION:The control pulse for an electromagnetic brake 27 consists of a pluse wave 801 having a large pulse width, at the beginning, the succeeding pulse wave 802 having a small pulse width, and a pulse 803 having a reverse voltage for speedily releasing the electromagnetic brake. The starting-up of electric current in the electromagnetic brake 273 is made speedy by said input pulse wave, and the inoperative time of the electromagnetic brake and the starting-up time of the dynamic frictional torque are shortened, and thus speed change is performed by controlling the electric-current value by the pulse width or the pulse series having variable frequencies.
