Title:
CONTROLLED MAGNETIC BEARING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3785522
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically identify a type of machine body by vibrating a rotator supported in a noncontact manner so as to identify a response therefrom.
SOLUTION: A controlled magnetic bearing device is composed of a machine body 1 having displacement sensors 23, 24, 25 and magnetic bearings 6, 7, 8 which support a rotator 5 by means of electromagnets in a noncontact manner, and a controller 2 for controlling exciting current supplied to the electromagnets. The controller 2 incorporates a digital signal processor(DSP) 18 which outputs a digital control signal for controlling the exciting current in accordance with digital displacement signals. The DSP 18 incorporates an identifying means for identifying a type of the machine body 1. The identifying means vibrates the rotator 5 after the latter is supported in a noncontact manner at a predetermined desired position, and at this time, the type of the machine body 1 is identified in accordance with a responding situation of the rotator 5.
