Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the harmonic current flowed at an AC power source side by using a 3-phase transformer coupled in a star connection with the second coil as a 3-phase AC power source and connecting the neutral point to the neutral point of a series circuit of smoothing condensers. CONSTITUTION:A 3-phase transformer 9 which is coupled in a star connection at the secondary coil 9B as a 3-phase AC power source is used, the output is applied to an inverter 3 through a series circuit of smoothing condensers 2A, 2B connected at neutral point N9 of the secondary coil 9B of the transformer 9 at a 3- phase rectifier 1 and a neutral connecting point N2, thereby driving a motor 4 by the output to control the running speed of a cage of an elevator. Accordingly, the waveform of the line current flowed through the coil 9B is generated at half waves of the phase voltage. Accordingly, the fifth, seventh and eleventh harmonic waves can be largely reduced, thereby preventing the harmonic waves from affecting the adverse influence to the AC power source side.
