Abstract:
To provide a reliable facility monitoring system capable of efficiently switching from an active state to a standby state.SOLUTION: A controller in a facility monitoring system which is provided with a monitoring device and duplexed controllers includes an I/F for performing communication between the controllers and a DO/DI terminal for transmitting/receiving signals between the controllers, and determines a failure state of other controller on the basis of the transmission/reception of a message between the controllers and the transmission/reception of a signal using the DO/DI terminal. When the controller in the standby state has determined that the controller in the active state has failed on the basis of the message between the controllers, the controller is switched to the active state. When the controller in the standby state has determined that the controller in the active state has failed on the basis of the signal using the DO/DI terminal and has determined that the controller in the active state is normal on the basis of the message between the controllers, the switching to the active state is not performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3A
