Abstract:
PURPOSE:To keep the fluctuation of the upper surface of a fluid at a fixed level by measuring the upper surface position of the fluid stored in a container in each prescribed control cycle, calculating a controlled variable of the fluid from the difference between the measured upper surface position of the fluid and the set target value, and changing the timer valve closing time based on the calculated controlled variable. CONSTITUTION:The slurry is sent to a tank 2 through a pipe 1. The upper surface position of the liquid stored in the tank 2 is detected by a liquid surface sensor 3, and a detection signal 4 is fetched by an input part 11 of a liquid surface controller 5. Then the measurement sample value (PV) signal is outputted to a control arithmetic part 13 from an input part 11 via a switch 12 which opens and closes in each prescribed sampling cycle. The part 13 calculates a controlled variable of a flow rate from the difference between the PV signal and the sample value (SV) signal of the target liquid surface value set previously. Based on this result of calculation, an output part 14 changes the set timer closing time value 6 of a valve 7 and then changes the drawing extent of the valve 7. Thus the upper surface fluctuation of the fluid stored in the tank 2 can be kept at a prescribed level.
