Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller capable of providing efficient operation control with a permanent magnet type rotating machine by properly correcting the detection value of a magnetic pole position using a simple technique which uses no voltage detector even for a cylindrical machine and a salient pole machine.
SOLUTION: In a condition where a rotor 4 of a permanent magnet type rotating machine 1 rotates with an almost zero armature current, dq vector control for the rotating machine 1 is processed in a dq coordinate system in which a field direction of the rotor 4 is d-axis, and the direction orthogonal to the d-axis is q-axis. A magnetic pole position correction amount for correcting the magnetic pole position detected with a magnetic pole position detector 8 is so acquired that a d-axis voltage command value acquired from the process of dq vector control comes to be almost zero. The phase of an armature voltage is manipulated using the magnetic pole position which is corrected with the magnetic pole position correcting amount.
