Title:
CONTROLLER FOR PLANT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3304843
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform high-precision adaptive control while suppressing an increase in operation quantity even if an actual idle time increases by making an adaptive controller correspond to an idle time shorter than the actual idle time and also making the sampling period of an input vector of an adaptation parameter adjusting means correspond to the actual idle time.
SOLUTION: An adaptive control (STR) block consists of an STR controller which sets an adaptation correction coefficient KSTR so that a target air fuel ratio coefficient KCMD(k) and a detected equivalent ratio KACT(k) match each other and an adaptation parameter adjusting mechanism which sets an adaptation parameter used here. Here, the STR controller is so constituted that an idle time (d) corresponds to three control cycles at the time of designing and the sampling period of the input vector ζ of the adaptation parameter adjusting mechanism corresponds to the actual idle time d (e.g. 5). Consequently, adaptive control can be performed without increasing the degrees of the STR controller and adaptation parameter adjusting mechanisms.
