Title:
CONTROLLER PROVIDED WITH BATTERY POWER SOURCE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3186134
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent a controller using a battery as a power source from generating heat or combustion due to a residual capacity of the battery at the time of dumping of the battery.
CONSTITUTION: In a discharging circuit 8 of a battery 5, a latch relay 9 is energized at the specified time set by a timer 7 and a contact 10 is shorted and the battery is discharged by a resistor for discharging 11 and a residual capacity of the battery 5 is made zero. At the time of dumping of a controller, a residual capacity of the battery 5 is automatically made zero. Therefore, even in the case that both ends of the battery 5 are shorted due to the dumping of the controller, there is no danger that the controller generates heat or combustion and the safety of the controller at the time of dumping can be increased.
