Abstract:
To provide a controller of a transmission that engages an engaging member at accurate timing, and a control method for a transmission.SOLUTION: A controller for a transmission comprises a software processing unit and a hardware processing unit. When there is a shift request to change a shift stage of a transmission, the software processing unit sets engagement timing based on a rotation angle of an engaging member engaged in response to the shift request and a rotation speed of the engaging member. The hardware processing unit starts engagement processing in the engaging member when the rotation angle of the engaging member reaches the engagement timing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
