Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly suppress the occurrence of troubles caused by executing both of a vehicle posture control and an engaging degree change control.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device has: an engine 10; an automatic transmission 200 equipped with a torque converter 202 with a lock-up clutch 202f; and a controller 50 which executes a lock-up control (engaging degree change control) changing a fastening degree of the lock-up clutch 202f, and executes a torque reducing control (vehicle posture control) for controlling a vehicle posture by reducing a generation torque of the engine 10 to generate vehicle deceleration, when a condition that a steering angle related value related to a steering angle of a steering device is increased during the traveling of a vehicle is established. The controller 50 suppresses the execution of the lock-up control when the torque reducing control is executed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
