To provide a controller displaying hot/cold display and an intra-case state in an automatic vending machine for respective sample commodities by installing display units showing the hot/cold states of the commodities and the propriety state of sales for respective commodity selection devices and setting the display positions of the display units to be stored display positions.
When power is supplied to an automatic vending machine, an operation control part 13a recognizes a state conducted by a power conduction detection means 12. Signals with respect to respective states stored in a storage means 15 with respect to a commodity cooling/heating display part and a commodity sales possible/impossible state display part are outputted to a commodity selection device with display unit 1. The power conduction detection means 12 can correct the display of the commodity cooling/heating display part and the commodity sales possible/impossible state display part to a setting position when power is supplied. Hot/cold display and an intra-case state in the automatic vending machine can be displayed for the respective sample commodities by installing the display units for the respective commodity selection devices with display units 1 selecting the purchase commodity.
