Abstract:

To improve a bubble detection capability even if an atmospheric temperature changes.

Foam is detected using the value of an output voltage of a first rectifying smoothing circuit and a threshold provided beforehand for determining whether the foam is detected. Since the threshold for determining whether the foam is detected is changed depending on the result of a temperature detecting means 34, the bubble detection capability is improved even if the atmospheric temperature changes and the foam is prevented from infiltrating to the necessary section of a washing machine, thereby improving the reliability.
