Abstract:
To provide a controller for a washing machine with a water suction pump to suck water by itself, capable of preventing the freezing of remaining water in the water suction pump in a cold area and outside a room in winter to ensure operation of the water suction pump.
A water suction pump 15 which can be primed to suck water by itself is set to be started and stopped by an antifreezing switch 53. The water suction pump 15 and a water supply valve 13 to supply city water are controlled by a control means 54 to automatically operate a series of washing, rinsing and dewatering processes. The control means 54 starts and stops the water suction pump 15 in priority in accordance with the output from the antifreezing switch 53.
