Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make unnecessary the operation to set a control parameter to an optimum value by detecting the vibration of a response waveform, extracting the feature quantity from the vibration and adjusting the control parameter so that the vibration can be converged based on it. CONSTITUTION:A vibration detecting means 3 monitors a response waveform, that is, the deviation, and when the difference in the previous extreme value, that is, the vibration width is the prescribed level or above and outside the settling band, the vibration is obtained and as such, the number of times is counted. In order to perform the adjusting action of a PID control parameter, a detected output is given to a feature quantity extracting means 4. The feature variable extracting means 4 extracts the vibration cycle and the damping factor from the detected vibration as the feature variable means 5 counts a new PID control parameter based on the vibration cycle and the damping factor and changes the PID control parameter of a PID control means 2 to a new counted PID control parameter. Thus, the optimum PID control parameter is set automatically.
