Abstract:
PURPOSE:To control the equipment with a small number of connecting cables, by connecting microcomputer systems divided into blocks for each function with transfer of series data. CONSTITUTION:The microcomputer systems divided into blocks for each function are connected to each other with transfer of series data. For instance, a control module 17 formed by connecting a microcomputer 22, a memory 23 and a series data I/O24 is used to control the transfer of series data. Then the parallel data are converted into series data by a keyboard module 18 and then delivered to a series bus 29. The data needed for display is read out of the data of the bus 29 by a display module 19 and then converted into parallel data to perform a lamp display. The switch signals are converted into parallel signals by a motor control module 20 to control a motor M. Then audio and video circuits are controlled by an audio/video control module 21.
