Abstract:
PURPOSE:To quickly and easily perform a start-up action with a controller by initializing a PI constant suited to a process and then setting automatically an automatic control state. CONSTITUTION:A start-up processing means 5 is actuated in a start-up mode and a PI arithmetic constant suited to a process 1 is quickly initialized to a PI control means 2. Then a switch circuit 3 is connected to a contact (b) by means of the signal received from a PI arithmetic constant calculating part 53 set within the means 5. Thus an automatic control mode is set. In this control mode an adaptive control processing means 4 supplies both the set value SV and the process value PV received from the process 1 and performs a self-tuning action so that both P and I arithmetic constants set to the means 2 are equal to each optimum value.
