PURPOSE: To enable the use of a keyless locking device, having excellent operability, for a managing device for presence-absence in rooms and to be constituted in a manner to be suited to the managing device on the whole.

CONSTITUTION: A keyless locking device is formed such that locking and unlocking operation is effected through forward and backward movement of a lock lever arranged to a door, and through unlocking operation made on an unlocking operation part arranged on the surface side of the door, unlocking operation is practicable. The keyless locking device comprises a lock lever forward backward movement detecting means to detect forward and backward movement of a lock lever and a locking operation detecting switch 102 to detect operation of locking. Based on detecting operation of the two members, presence and absence are detected. A locking operation member 100 arranged to the keyless locking device is moved in a direction, in which locking operation by a lock lever is carried out, when a depress operation part 100a exposed to the surface on the surface side of the door is operated, and the locking operation detecting switch 102 is turned ON by means of the locking operation member 100.
