Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate the production of an overexcitation phenomenon of an induction motor at the time when wheels are idled by detecting the difference between the torque command value and the torque detected value of the motor, and controlling the output frequency of a variable voltage and variable frequency power converter in response to the detected output. CONSTITUTION:The deviation between the command torque signal from a torque instruction unit 21 and a motor torque signal detected by a torque detector 30 is amplified by a deviation amplifier 22. The output of the amplifier 22 is added as the slip frequency by an adder 24 through a lower priority circuit 23 which receives a slip frequency limit set signal to the signal of a vehicle speed detected by a vehicle speed detector 29, and the output of the added result is used as the output frequency command signal C' of a converter 26.
