PURPOSE: To secure the charging accuracy of powder by a method in which the reduced amount and discharged amount of a pressure hopper during the charging process of the powder are compared and the gas pressure of the pressure hopper is controlled so as to keep the discharge amount at a set one all the time.
CONSTITUTION: A pressure hopper 8 is mounted through a load cell 24 on a frame 23, and a controller 21 is connected to the load cell 24. The reduced amount and discharged amount of powder are measured, and when the discharged amount is deviated from a set one, a compressor 10 is actuated to regulate the gas pressure of the pressure hopper 8. At the same time, the rotation of a rotary feeder 19 is adjusted to control the discharge amount of the powder.
