Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable to accurately control the speed of an induction motor without using a speed detector by controlling a torque current in response to the deviation between a speed command signal and a 90 deg. phase difference voltage component, and controlling the output frequency of a frequency converter in response to the deviation between the speed command signal and the same phase voltage component. CONSTITUTION:Voltage component detectors 7, 8 respectively detect the 90 deg. phase difference component eq and the same phase component ed to the 2-axial components of a motor voltage, i.e., the exciting current phase reference signal. The speed command signal is compared by a comparator 5 with the eq, the torque current can be controlled in response to the deviation it*, the speed command signal is compared by a comparator 9 with the ed, thereby controlling an oscillator 10 in response to the deviation to control the output frequency of a frequency converter 1.
