Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the responsiveness of an induction motor at a light load time by controlling a vector when the excitation is weak and weakening controlling the vector when the excitation is strong. CONSTITUTION:When an error pulse number ERP generated for the prescribed period is the set value ERP1 or higher, a processor 112a generates the primary current having an amplitude 11W, and generates the primary current amplitude 11W based on the vector control when the number ERP is the value ERP1 set empirically in advance or lower. Since the exciting current is forcibly controlled to become equal to the value I0min of the minimum limit considering the responsiveness even if the exciting current becomes resultantly excessively small from the result that the speed deviation becomes the prescribed value or smaller in a weakening field control, the responsive characteristics at the light load time so that the speed deviation becomes small can be improved.
