Abstract:

To obtain a controlling method of operation of a far infrared grain drying apparatus enabling suitable start and stop of the operation without deteriorating grain.

In a far infrared grain drying apparatus 10, a far infrared radiator 78 connected at one end to a burner 66 is disposed in an air duct 38 and further a suction exhauster 70 is connected thereto. On the occasion of stopping a drying operation, the burner 66 is stopped and also a state of air circulating operation is once brought about with the suction exhauster 70 and equipment of a circulating system left operated, and the operation of the apparatus is stopped after the far infrared radiator 78 and the inside of the air duct 38 are cooled. Thereby grain can be prevented from being heated unnecessarily and deteriorated.
