Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a rotating speed controlling method for sufficiently reducing the irregular rotation by operating the added result of 2-phase outputs of rotating speed detector as speed control signals, and stopping at the prescribed position with the 2-phase outputs separately used at the decelerating and stopping time. CONSTITUTION:When switches S1, S2 are turned ON by a command controller 140, switches S3, S4 are turned OFF and a start signal is generated at the time t1, a voltage is applied to a capstan motor 110 to accelerate the motor. The output frequency of a rotating speed detector D is counted by a counter in the controller 140 at t1-t2, and when it becomes the set counted value, a constant- speed operation is started, the switches S1, S2 are turned OFF, the switches S3, S4 are turned ON, the detection signals of phases A, B are added by a calculator amplifier 30, the periods are averaged to obtain a low irregular rotation characteristic. When the position signal of a video tape 100 is detected by a head 130 at the time t3, a tracking signal is generated by a control signal, the switches S1, S2 are turned ON, the switches S3, S4 are turned OFF, and stopped at the prescribed position.
