Abstract:
The invention provides a control device and a machine tool having the control device. The control device can control driving of a main shaft and a tool magazine, and a tool can be assembled on the main shaft, and the tool magazine contains the tool. A function is utilized to set a boundary between a first range in which the spindle head and the tool magazine do not interfere with each other and asecond range in which the spindle head and the tool magazine interfere with each other. When the spindle head is moved within a range in which the spindle head and the tool magazine do not interfere with each other, the spindle head is moved to a position which is determined by a function and can be moved to, and therefore, the speed of the spindle head can be optimized, and acceleration and deceleration of the spindle head can be suppressed.
