Abstract:
To reduce the possibility that a converter circuit may be erroneously controlled.SOLUTION: A current detection circuit 6 detects an electric current running between a power conversion system 1 and a power system. A detection section 22 detects the presence/absence of a failure in the current detection circuit 6 according to a detection current value detected by the current detection circuit 6. When the detection section 22 detects that a failure exists in the current detection circuit 6, a second control section 212 makes a converter circuit (a first converter circuit 4) execute only a charging operation of the charging operation and a discharge operation. When a state in which the detection section 22 detects that a failure exists in the current detection circuit 6 continues for a predetermined time, the second control section 212 stops the converter circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
