Title:
CONVENIENT COOLING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6423079
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To sustain excellent cooling effect for a long time by mixing powder of a soluble heat absorbing substance and water added with a thickener, dissolving the powder into water oozing out from the thickener and then cooling the periphery or the inside of a container.

CONSTITUTION: Powder of a substance absorbing heat when being dissolved into water and a thickener added with water are mixed in a water blocking bottomed container. The powder is dissolved into water oozing out gradually from the thickener through contact thus cooling the periphery or the inside of the container by absorbing heat at the time of dissolving. The substance includes ammonium nitrate, sodium thiosulfate, ammonium chloride, urea, or the like, and one or more than one kind of these substances can be employed. The thickener includes carboxy methylcellulose, sodium alginate, poval, or the like. Viscosity of the thickener is preferably set in the range of 30000-40000 cp in order to sustain cooling effect for a long term.
